In recognition of Rev. Joyce’s 40 years of faithful service to the Lord and her ministry to many congregations—including the past 12 years with The United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls—a Foundation fund will be established in her honor. During her time in Chagrin Falls, Rev. Joyce has shared compassionate pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and a steady presence that has helped make our church a welcoming place to worship and call home.

The Rev. Joyce Lawson Ministry Fund will be created to provide ongoing support for Membership Care Ministries, local community Outreach, and UMC Missions (including UMCOR and other special offerings). This fund will help ensure that Rev. Joyce’s legacy of compassion and care continues to inspire and bless future generations. Mary and Kevin Barnes have generously provided a leadership gift to launch the fund, and the Foundation warmly invites all who wish to honor Rev. Joyce to contribute.
