Baptism
Baptism is a meaningful and memorable sacrament of our faith that involves a declaration of Jesus Christ as one’s Savior and a commitment to the ministry of Christ in and through the church. People of all ages can be baptized (including infants). Most baptisms take place in the church sanctuary during worship and with the sprinkling of Holy Water.

The United Methodist Church recognizes baptisms from other Christian churches and therefore does not re-baptize people. However, we do on occasion offer a baptism renewal service in which everyone is encouraged to remember their baptism and recommit themselves to the baptismal vows.
To enquire about baptism, attend worship, participate in the ministry of Christ’s church, and see the pastor to express your desire for baptism. You may also call the church office at 440-247-5848 with questions and to speak with the pastor.
Wedding
A Christian wedding is the celebration of a couple’s love and commitment to each other and to God. This sacred ceremony of entering into a covenant agreement with God and one another established a solid foundation for a marriage. By choosing to be married by a pastor you are welcoming God’s presence in your wedding ceremony and asking for God’s blessing upon your marriage. It is a requirement that all couples wanting to be married in the church will meet with the pastor. Please contact the church office for availability inquires and to schedule an appointment with the pastor.
Our church sanctuary holds approximately 200 guests, and the natural wood, altar and stained-glass window of the chancel area provide an excellent backdrop for your special day.
Funeral
We consider it part of our calling and purpose as a church to support and serve you before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. When a death has occurred, our pastors and staff would be honored to provide the service for your loved one here at the church, at the funeral home, graveside or elsewhere depending on the family’s decision.
Jesus Christ is our hope for eternal life, and we offer this hope to all who have suffered loss.
