Is Christ calling you to participate on a ministry team? Seriously and prayerfully consider this question.
Instead of waiting for someone to ask you, how about following the Lord’s lead and taking the initiative to participate!
Those who serve on Ministry Teams do not have specific “terms of service” like those serving on our church’s Administrative Committees, but instead you serve for as long as God leads you to serve in that way (from a few months to a few years).
Please inform Meg in the church office of your interest and she will add you to the email list to receive meeting reminders; you may also speak with the team’s contact person.

Community Connections
Meets 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm by zoom
This team’s focus is to connect with our preschool families and Chagrin Falls community by planning opportunities like the Saturday morning Walk, Friday evening Pizza & Bingo, special concerts/events.

Fellowship Team
Meets before fellowship events
This team plans congregational fellowship events like Souper Bowl Sundae, Pancake Breakfast, Picnic in the Park, and the Fall Lunch.

Membership Care Team
Meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 2:30pm at the church
This team sends thinking of you, holiday and birthday cards to church shut-ins, and cards to those facing or recovering from an illness or a loss. It coordinates the taking of communion to church shut-ins, the Care Bear and Blanket ministry, and the Seniors of Faith Luncheons.

Outreach Team
Meets one evening a month at the church, exact day determined by team members availability
This team coordinates outreach/mission opportunities like the Cleveland Foodbank, workdays with Habitat for Humanity (and building of a playhouse), Mission Guatemala, the ongoing Food Barrel collection for the CF Park Community Center, and additional collections throughout the year (i.e. school supplies for Nehemiah Mission & CF Community Center, and personal items for the Geauga County Rescue Mission).

Technology Team
Meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7pm at the church)
This team is focused on the usage and updating of technology in all areas of the church.

Worship Team
Meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7pm by zoom
This team addresses the details of weekly and seasonal worship.
