Parent's Morning Out
About Us
The Parents’ Morning Out Program is an arm of the Christian Education program at the United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls. More than just babysitting and beyond providing quality childcare, PMO is a caring ministry for young children (12 months but not yet 3 years of age by September 30) offering a Christian education-based time where children learn through teacher-guided and child-driven play. PMO recognizes that:
♦ the child is a precious gift from God who comes into the world ready to be loved in the best way the world can offer.
♦ children often need opportunities to experience positive relationships with other children & adults outside the family.
♦ the church, at its best, is the place where both children and adults develop relationships that communicate God’s ultimate love, care and concern for us.
Children participating in the Parents’ Morning Out Program can enjoy Bible stories, creative play, arts and crafts, singing, music and social skills development activities. Daily activities include age-appropriate exposure to colors, counting, shapes and letters.
Our Parents’ Morning Out program gives children a morning together with other children of similar ages where all kinds of learning happens in a positive way through play.
Program Details
Our classes meet one day a week (you can request Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, or be assigned a day depending on availability) from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM, starting mid-September and continuing through mid-May.
Additionally, children who will turn 30 months old by September 30 of the school year, are eligible to join a Monday Enrichment class.

How to Register
Registration for our PMO (Parent's Morning Out) program will first be open to:
-
Families with children currently enrolled in PMO
-
Families with children attending or enrolled for the upcoming school year at The Methodist Preschool
-
Church members
After that, we will open registration to the public in late January or early February. Spots tend to fill up quickly, but sometimes openings become available closer to the start of the school year, or even mid-year.
