Reading the Bible Day 68

Friends, I'm just going to do you a favor. Take the day off. Skip it. If you're really that committed than SKIM this and by SKIM I mean like whoopsie poopsie your way through these pages because this is the most BORING, long segment of scripture we've read yet. It literally took me 45 minutes to get through and not a single bit of this is important. It's basically saying "hey this city belongs to this tribe." That's it. Ugh. So boring. but if you are committed, press on dear friends. Press on.

Scripture to Read

Joshua 13 - 21 (I'm not kidding.)

Psalm 68

Audio Bible

Questions to Consider

  1. What does this teach me about God?

  2. What does this teach me about humanity?

  3. What sticks out to me?

Prayer: (Inspired by Psalm 68:9)

Gracious God, pour out your rain on the weary land. A land that is weary from conflict and disagreement...Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer. Lord, pour your rain down on nmarriages that are weary. Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer. Lord, pour down rain on weary bodies fighting off disease. Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer. Lord, pour down rains on souls whose faith is weary. Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer. Lord, pour down your rains and revive all who feel weary. Amen.
