Edmond Worley - Cleveland Foodbank Founding Executive Director
In 1979 Ed was the founding Executive Director of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
For almost 20 years, the Food Bank became his incredible passion.
From finding the Food Bank’s first warehouse and preparing it for opening with his family by his side, to serving as director for both the Food Bank and Second Harvest,
Ed’s character and passion were always evident
"Ed was married to my cousin Carmeline. They were the Godparents to my sister Connie's daughter Molly. Ed loved leading the Christmas carols at our yearly Christmas Eve celebration.
We call the Food Bank "The House That Ed Built".
He would be proud of how far it has come and the impact it makes every day."
