We are a Welcoming Community Sharing the Experience of God in Our Lives
Since our founding as the first church in the Chagrin Falls village, the United Methodist Church has provided a vibrant and welcoming Christian presence in the heart of the village. We offer a diversity of worship experiences that range from traditional to more contemporary, and we strive to be a caring community that supports one another as we grow in our love for God and in our love and service to others.
We have an active base of church members and visitors from the village as well as from Solon, Hudson, Aurora, Bainbridge, Russell and other nearby areas. All are welcome!

Join Us in Sunday Worship
9 a.m. A traditional worship service with visuals and the sound of our pipe organ and the music ministry of our Chancel Choir.
11 a.m. A more contemporary worship service with visuals that includes Shepherds of Sound (our praise team), the Chancel Choir, and featured soloists and ensembles.
Summer From June through August, we offer a single service at 10 a.m.
Holy Communion is served at both services on the first Sunday of each month. Those wishing to partake each week may do so in a short celebration of Holy Communion at the front of the sanctuary at 8:30 a.m. on the second, third, fourth and fifth Sundays of each month. During the summer months, the short communion celebration takes place at 9:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room.
United Methodists are keen on feeding the body as well as the soul. Coffee, tea, and snacks are served in Harris Fellowship Hall Sundays from 10 -10:45 a.m. and after the 10 a.m. worship service in the summer months. This time of fellowship offers the opportunity to meet and converse with church members.
The United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls offers a wide variety of educational experiences for Christians and seekers of all ages.
Sunday School, or JAM Sessions (Jesus And Me), for all ages start at 10 a.m. September through May.
For Children, ages 3 to third grade, we study Bible lessons through the lens of art, science, games, and stories/videos.
For Youth, we offer classroom-based lessons, examining relevant Biblical topics. Youth JAM Sessions are offered for:
- Grades 4 and 5
- Middle school (grades 6-8)
- High School (grades 9-10)
For Adults, there are two regular classes – Journeys and Pillars and Bridges — that meet on Sunday mornings. And we offer short-term classes throughout the year, discussing such topics as parenting, Church history, and more.
There are many opportunities and activities throughout the year for Christian learning and spiritual formation that meet during the week, such as Bible studies, prayer breakfasts and the most awesome Vacation Bible School in the Chagrin Valley!
