Rummage Sale

Twice a year, in April and in early October, our United Methodist Women (UMW) sponsor a rummage sale. This enables us to recycle items we no longer find useful, and also raises money to support the mission and projects of the UMW. Call the church office at 440-247-5848 for more details.

Blossom Festival

The annual Blossom Time Race, which is sponsored by the Chagrin Falls Jaycees, finishes in front of The United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls. In conjunction with this event, the church offers its annual 8:00-8:30 a.m. “Runners’ Service.” Runners, their families, and all interested members of our community are invited to join in this half-hour long time of worship before the race begins. At the close of the race, church members serve water and fruit to the race participants.

Line Dancing

To provide an opportunity for physical as well as spiritual wholeness, The United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls sponsors a weekly Line Dancing group, which is open to any who would like to attend. Call the church office or check the church calendar for details and meeting times.

Relay for Life

For several years, The United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Chagrin Valley “Relay for Life” through its relay team, “The Motivators.” The church also has several volunteer leaders who help prepare this event and provide a site for planning meetings. This year’s Relay for Life of Chagrin Valley was held at Kenston High School on May 10-11. To learn how you can get involved, go to www.relayforlife.org/chagrinvalley.

Scouts

Scouts 1     

The United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls has a long history of supporting Scouting. Currently we host Troop 177 (the first Troop formed in our community), as well as several Cub Packs and a Venture Crew for older youths. Please contact the church office for more details.

Weddings

Rev. Snider and the staff of the United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls are always willing to assist couples from our community as they commit themselves to one another in marriage. Our sanctuary provides a beautiful setting for weddings involving up to 200 guests, and ample parking is available in nearby public lots. Rev.
