              All children (age 3 as of September 30, 2013 — potty trained a must! — through grade 5) are welcome.  Invite friends, neighbors and cousins, because it is a ton of fun.  The kids learn how to stand strong for God while they explore Sing and Play Rock, Epic Bible Adventure, Chadder’s Royal Theatre and Missions, Imagination Station, Tournament Games, and the King’s Kitchen.  Registration forms are available on the wall by the Castle outside the church offices.  Complete the form and return it with payment (payable to UMC of CF) to the church office.  (Cost:  $25 per child/$60 family maximum)

Please note: the parking lanes in front of the church will be closed during this construction. The north end of the church (the entrance by the women’s restroom) will be unlocked on Sunday mornings, for your convenience, if you prefer to use that entrance. Please watch for notices on water shut-downs and additional construction updates on the church website.

 VILLAGE OF CHAGRIN FALLS CONSTRUCTION NOTICE (S. Franklin Street)

 April 10, 2013

 Construction activities to replace the water main from Maple Street to Washington Street will re-commence on or about Friday, April 12, 2013, weather permitting. Water main replacement work will be followed as quickly as possible with resurfacing of the road between South Street and Washington Street. The scheduled completion date for this final phase of work is May 24, 2013. Work hours will typically be between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

S. Franklin Street will be closed to through traffic during the course of the project. A detour will be established using Maple Street and Water Street for through traffic.

There will likely be a few instances when water service is disrupted in order to make new tie-ins to existing lines. The shut-down usually lasts four to six hours. You will be notified a day in advance of planned shut-down periods so that you may plan accordingly. There is also the possibility that breaks in the existing water main may occur during construction due to the age and condition of the line, in these instances the water department will issue notices (boil alerts) on a case by case basis. Your patience is appreciated.

We anticipate a smooth and safe installation, although we know there can always be unpredictable events. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this project.

Tuesday Nights:  January 15, February 19, March 19, April 16, May 21; two hour shift from 6:00—8:00 p.m.  We will leave the church at approximately 5:15 p.m.

Monday Nights (Family Night):  March 18, April 15, May 13; two hour shift from 5:30—7:30 p.m.  We will leave the church at approximately 4:45 p.m.  Families are welcome, with children ages 6 and up accompanied by their parents.

Saturday Morning:  January 26; four hour shift from 8:00 a.m.—12:00 noon.  We will leave the church at approximately 7:15 a.m.
